GRIMM’S Spiel und Holz Design is a family driven and sustainably managed manufacturer, producing safe and high quality toys at the foot of the Swabian Alb in Germany since 1978. Their product design is is guided by the principles of Waldorf education and other educational approaches, such as Montessori.

All natural, sustainable long-lasting toys
Grimm’s toys are always unique, carrying marks made by nature. Wood grain has changing structures and colours which serve as proof of its natural origins. The unique variations are proof of quality, not defects.

Grimm's wood comes exclusively from sustainably managed forests in Europe. They are an FSC^® (License Code: FSC-C125886) certified company and are actively engaged in reforestation projects. Their wooden toys fit into the natural cycle without any problems.

Grimm's raw material wood are robust, and remain playable for many many years.

Certifications
They are certified in accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard as well as the FSCTM standard. All colors and oils they use are certified in accordance with the EN 71 and CPSIA/ASTM F963 standards. Since August 2015, Grimm's has been certified according to FSC standards - a recognition of use of sustainable forestry in the making of their toys.
